How to generate a contract in 3 steps

  1. Pick a contract type

Search by trade or browse the 9 contract types and their industry templates. A template only pre-fills clauses and settings — never a name or an ID number.

  2. Answer the questions

Fill in the parties, purpose, dates and payment. The contract writes itself in the live preview, amounts in both figures and words, clauses adapting to your answers.

  3. Download, or send for signature

Export PDF or Word, with or without the ID annex. Or send one signing link per party: that step uploads the frozen document to our server and builds a proof file.

Why use this contract generator

Frequently asked questions

Is this contract generator free?

Yes: the contract types, industry templates, live preview and PDF or Word exports are free, with no account. Remote signing is part of the tool too.

Are these contracts legally binding?

They are structured templates, not legal advice. A contract's validity depends on your jurisdiction and situation — read the result, adapt it, and consult a professional for high-stakes agreements.

Is my data sent to a server?

Not while you draft: writing, preview and export run in your browser. The one exception is remote signing, which uploads the frozen document — the screen tells you before it happens.

How does remote signing work?

The document is frozen as a PDF, then each signer receives a personal link and signs from their phone. The final file includes a certificate page describing what each signature establishes — and what it cannot prove.

Can I add witnesses?

Yes, up to four, on any contract type. A witness signs through the same kind of personal link and gets their own signature row — they attest, they are not a party.

Why is the ID annex on a separate page?

So the contract can circulate without ID documents attached: the annex starts on its own page, and a “contract only” export leaves it out entirely.
